About FasTab

Drinks being poured behind a busy bar counter

Before the pandemic, Carson Keck was out with friends celebrating an engagement. They planned to visit several bars, but only reached the second, because getting the bills and paying took too long. A great night can sour fast when guests lose control of their own time.

“There has to be a better way.”

Carson Keck, co-founder

That gave us our starting point: guests should control when they pay and leave, and staff should spend their time on hospitality. Carson turned the idea into a product through research, calls with the industry and a beta, and the first restaurant went live in 2022.

Today FasTab is a card terminal for any business and a POS built for restaurants. We still work the same way: learn how a business really runs, try a practical fix, and keep improving it.

How FasTab grew

From paying at the table to card payments for every business and a POS for restaurants.

  1. 2026
    FasTab PinPad and FasTab POS

The PinPad takes cards for any business, with no POS needed. FasTab POS runs restaurants, and QR pay at the table becomes an add-on for it.

  2. 2025
    Into payments and POS

We bring the FasTab PinPad to our first merchants and make FasTab POS our priority.

  3. Our first national chain

IHOP goes live on FasTab on November 9.

  4. Our first restaurant

Confusion Corner goes live on FasTab on November 20. Within a month, more than 20 restaurants have signed on.

  5. The start
An idea from a night out

A night out celebrating an engagement sparks the idea. Research, calls with the industry and a beta turn it into a product.
